Darwin has no allergies or other health issues. He eats a varied diet of raw bony meat, wet food and dry food and has never had any stomach issues.
Darwin is currently on a Suprelorin implant, which we expect to last until late 2013 at the very least. We look forward to following the growth and development of his first litter at FIN*Ryytimaan!

Darwin is a real gentleman-cat with plenty of dignity. He mostly reserves his affection to his family and his best friend, our other cat Dawkins. But even though he’s quite strong (and sometimes wiggly!), he is easy to handle and never gives us trouble with washing, brushing or claw-clipping. He isn’t shy at all, always greeting our guests at the door and immediately inspecting them and especially their shoes ; )
In the mornings he politely waits until our alarm clocks ring before he comes for his normal morning greeting of walking all over us purring like a tractor and licking our noses. His favourite things include cardboard boxes and all kinds of bags that he can thoroughly inspect. Darwin’s major bad habit is lifting the filter off the shower drain and hiding all of his toy mice there – and then laughing when we have to fish them back out…
Darwin is a true forest cat in that he loves the outdoors – no matter the weather he’s always ready for a walk. We have built a small catrun that can be accessed directly through a window, and both Darwin and Dawkins now spend quite a lot of time outside bird-watching (even when it’s raining!).
